During competition at the O’Reilly Nationals in Topeka, KS., both Dale and Lora Dahlberg from First Choice Transportation, Inc. have decided to extend their support to include the Lucas Oil, Brainerd Nationals which starts August 7th and continues through the 10th.  Schaun had this to say; “We couldn’t be more excited for both TSR and FCT!  I think that if things keep going the direction they are this is only the tip of the ice burg!”

TSR is pleased to announce the addition of FCT (First Choice Transportation, Inc. owned by Dale & Lora Dahlberg.  The company is based out of Commerce City, Colorado which is an over the road carrier specializing in refrigerated loads to Canada.  FCT will load in Colorado, Kansas, Texas, and Nebraska with fresh beef to Montreal, PQ then bring chocolate, paper, liquor, and fresh pork back to the US. 

Schaun and Tom had this to say about the joint venture; “Dale and Lora have been huge fans of NHRA drag racing forever and have been our friends for many years.  We are excited at their new level of participation and welcome them on board with TSR for the 2008 season.  With the rising cost of fuel to transport our team to the race track, this additional funding comes much appreciated.  We know that out of all businesses, the trucking industry is feeling the crunch the most and we cannot say enough about their generosity.”
We are currently working the bugs out on our budget and funding for this year and hope to have some exciting news very soon.  But for now, we are posting a preliminary 2008 race/appearance schedule so you can mark on your calendar where and when we will be racing!  We will also have some crewmember updates coming very soon so look for that as well.

With the continued support of organizations like EPIC (Ethanol Promotion & Information Council) through their marketing program which is supported by such ethanol plants like Heartland Grain Fuels and Advanced BioEnergy, Our team can continue to promote one of the Nations biggest assets for cutting the ties on being as dependant on foreign oil while still helping the local farmer by promoting ethanol usage throughout the Midwest.

Expansion 2008 - 09

 

I am currently looking to expand my racing team in the following capacity in order to continually improve my marketing strategies for both primary and secondary sponsors.

  • An aggressive Divisional and National race schedule as well as some local racing.
  • Numerous ethanol promotion appearances when our race schedule does not conflict.
  • Continue to work with NHRA regarding a possible ethanol/methanol blend for alcohol classes
  • Continue to work with race fuel companies in hopes that ethanol can become an affordable race fuel alternative throughout the Nation available at every track.
  • When I am not racing my SuperComp car I will be crewing for Vern Moats and Paul Anderson.

In 2009 we hope to field a Top Alcohol Funny Car while continuing to promote ethanol on a local and national capacity.  If there is anyone out there looking to jump on board with us and help make this possible email me with details and we’ll talk!
